My work

about me

Hello! I'm Anna Whiteside. I was born and raised in the small town of Travelers Rest, SC. I graduated from Clemson University in May of 2011 with a BA in Architecture and a minor in horticulture. I continued my education and received my Master in Architecture in May of 2013 from Cranbrook Academy of Art. My aim is to integrate horticultural practices with new sustainable ideals through architectural design. My goal is to positively impact our society and the environment through architecture. As Tadao Ando once said, "I believe that the way people live can be directed a little by architecture."
